A radio signal needs space
A Bluetooth antenna emits electromagnetic energy. A fully closed metal enclosure can weaken or alter that energy, reducing range and stability.
Increasing transmit power is not a complete solution. It may use more battery without fixing an unfavourable antenna environment.
RF-transparent without looking technical
A small area made from a material that passes radio signals more effectively is one possible approach. It must be technically well positioned and visually integrated.
Material, antenna, electronics, water sealing and wear position therefore need to be designed together.
Measure before claiming
Simulation and early models help, but radio measurements with functional prototypes remain essential. Liora does not yet claim final range or certified performance.
